FIRE
Our fire door range can achieve up to FD60 (60 minutes) fire rating, with additional smoke control if needed.
SOUND
Our acoustic door sets can achieve a sound reduction value of 30RwdB incorporating acoustic seals, while up to 37RwdB is achievable using more specialised door constructions.
STYLES
Doorsets from Holmes Joinery come in a number of different styles and constructions to suit any application; hotels, heritage and conservation buildings, commercial offices and contemporary homes. As a bespoke manufacturer, we have the ability to create virtually any style and design.
Single doors or pairs of doors can be supplied for either single or double action, as well as other configurations for bespoke designs.
FINISHES
We work with a variety of timbers producing door sets from basic paint grade to highest quality factory finish veneered door sets as well as coloured laminated door sets. We can also supply UPVC encapsulated door sets.
All of our products can be factory sprayed finished to your requirements and the doors pre-hung to ensure that the on-site fitters can fit them quickly and accurately.
All doors incorporating glass will be factory glazed. Many glazed styles can be built to achieve up to 60 minutes fire resistance.
We encourage early involvement with specifiers to help develop designs in conjunction with our team, to ensure all doors meet your performance and aesthetic requirements.
Our own fleet of vans allows us to deliver nationwide – in so doing we control the quality of the product that we distribute.

We encourage early contact from specifiers as we will often pick up errors in plans and can give constructive feedback to assist in the design of the project.
Manufacturing
With over 44 years expertise in joinery manufacture, your fire door is made by hand, by experts in their field.
As your order passes through our workshop, it will be created by knowledgable operatives, well-versed in fire safety, making fire doors with detailed care and attention.
To date, we have had zero returns, our team of joiners take pride in getting it right first time, every time. Our experienced team take time to carefully consider detailed fire door specifications, making sure your firedoor meets your exact specifications.
Aftercare
We re-act as a matter of urgency if site managers encounter any fire door installation problems, demonstrating our commitment to work as a partner not merely a supplier.
We assume responsibility for rectifying any issue as quickly as possible.
Project and site managers can call on us for advice or assistance throughout the life of the project. But our aftercare service doesn’t stop there, if the client or ‘end user’ requires any fire door safety advice or support, we are available to them as part of our commitment to the project.
